1. Service Description
LeaseStract provides an AI-powered lease abstraction service that extracts key terms, dates, and provisions from commercial lease documents ("Service"). The Service uses optical character recognition (OCR) and artificial intelligence to analyze uploaded PDF documents and generate structured lease abstracts.
2. No Legal Advice
The lease abstracts generated by LeaseStract are for informational and convenience purposes only and do not constitute legal advice, legal opinion, or legal representation. The output should not be relied upon as a substitute for review by a qualified attorney. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any extracted information against the original lease documents.
3. Accuracy Disclaimer
While LeaseStract strives for accuracy, AI-generated abstracts may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. Complex lease provisions, handwritten annotations, poor document quality, or unusual formatting may affect extraction accuracy. LeaseStract makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the completeness or accuracy of any abstract generated.
4. Payment and Refund Policy
All sales are final. Fees are charged on a per-abstract basis at the time of processing. Pricing is determined by the total size of the uploaded documents and is displayed before payment. By completing a purchase, you agree to pay the stated amount. LeaseStract does not offer refunds for completed extractions. If you experience technical issues that prevent delivery of results, please contact support.
5. Saved Payment Methods
When you make your first purchase, your payment method may be securely saved through our payment processor, Stripe, for future transactions. Subsequent purchases can be completed using your saved payment method without re-entering payment details. You may use a different payment method at any time by selecting the appropriate option at checkout.
6. Document Privacy and Data Handling
Uploaded lease documents are processed using secure cloud infrastructure. Documents are stored temporarily for processing purposes and cached to improve performance on subsequent requests. LeaseStract does not share, sell, or distribute your uploaded documents or extracted data to third parties. Your data is isolated by account and protected by encryption in transit and at rest.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with documents you are authorized to upload and analyze. You shall not upload documents containing malware, attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, or use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your uploaded documents and the data extracted from them. LeaseStract retains all rights to its software, algorithms, and Service infrastructure. The generated abstracts are derived works of your source documents and belong to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeaseStract and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
10. Service Availability
LeaseStract aims to provide reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Processing times may vary depending on document complexity and system load.
11. Modifications to Terms
LeaseStract reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
